ALLELUIA! CHRIST IS RISEN!

EASTER SUNDAY

Just a quick note this Easter evening to wish you all a truly Blessed and Joy-filled Easter.

Christ is risen, He is truly risen! And because of that, everything has changed.

My prayer for each of you is that you do not just acknowledge this truth today, but that you live it. That you embrace the new life Christ so freely offers, letting Him be at the very center of your life, shaping your days, your decisions, and your hearts. May you walk forward simply and confidently, using the gifts and talents you have been given to fulfill your unique, God-given mission.

The beauty of this day is that it is not over. In the Church, Easter is so great, so profound, that we don’t celebrate it for just one day, but for eight. The Octave of Easter invites us to remain in this joy, to linger in the wonder of the Resurrection, as if each day were Easter Sunday itself.

And even beyond that, we continue this celebration for 50 days, all the way to Pentecost, growing in the light, hope, and new life that began at the empty tomb.

So stay in it.

Rejoice a little longer.

Let the joy stretch beyond today and into the days ahead.

He is risen, and He is making all things new.

The light of Christ is day without night, a day without end; everywhere it shines, everywhere it radiates, nowhere does it fail. The light of Christ is always brilliant, radiant, and gleaming, and no gloom of sinfulness can encompass it.

~St. Maximus of Turin

May God bless you abundantly this Easter season!
