Hello May! May 2nd, 2023

Hello May! The gray skies have moved on and we have sunshine here in NW Montana. Praise God! It was snowing last week and today found us swimming in a lake. It could very well snow again next week. I hope not! But, yes, it's what May does and we are grateful for all of it. Easter isn't a day, it's a SEASON! Catholics celebrate Easter for 50 days, called Eastertide, where we celebrate our new life in Christ. What have you been doing to keep the Easter spirit alive? Here are some ideas for you in line with the 3 pillars of living an Integrated Life: SPIRITUAL The Regina Caeli is one of 4 Marian antiphons, traditionally said or sung after night prayer, immediately before going to sleep. It is said throughout Eastertide: from Easter Day through Pentecost, the 7th Sunday after Easter. The Regina caeli is also said in place of the Angelus during Eastertide.Regina Caeli - video

SELF Having fresh flowers in your home is uplifting and can brighten your mood. Fill your house with the lovely colors and fragrance of fresh flowers. Keep a beautiful bouquet in the kitchen or on the dining room table in honor of the Resurrection and a sign of hope in our own resurrection.Science Proves Flowers Make You Happy and Healthy

SERVICE I love the idea of bringing back old-fashioned letter writing. I'm not very good at it, but I know how much I enjoy getting a handwritten note in the mail. So...share you Easter joy by sending handwritten Easter cards throughout the entirety of Eastertide. CatholicPaperGoods - Etsy
